IBEC
Helping experts bridge the gap between proven scientific processes & real-world applications for healthy gathering.
Brand. Digital Solutions. Growth. Messaging. Strategy
Overview
IBEC, The Integrated Bioscience and Built Environment Consortium, launched during the pandemic in 2020 with the vision to make buildings and people safer and healthier. By weaving together disparate technical disciplines and knowledge areas, they provide real-world solutions that mitigate risk liability and protect what matters most – people.
This work has primarily taken the form of the development and delivery of online virtual technical training and digital education product and tools of distilled and actionable scientific information. It has now extended into strategic partnerships with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), and the White House Office Science and Technology Policy, among others.
This work also led to virtual spaces where the scientific community, industry, and the general public can come together and access vetted and curated scientific resources to assist in research and application purposes, positioning IBEC and its leadership as thought leaders and advocates in the space of infectious disease control and mitigation.
Firebrand is responsible for the management and execution of all the public relations, communications, marketing, web design, and development pipeline across IBEC digital platforms, including a public-facing website, a research repository, and membership site. The research repository and the membership include sophisticated content tagging solutions, searchability functions, and content access management so that different user levels can review, access, and publish different content depending on their membership or administrative level.
Capitalizing on IBEC’s subject matter experts' professional network from across the globe, we led the outreach, coordination, delivery, and post-event email newsletters of multiple interactive online summits and workshops focused on relevant scientific trends and challenges associated with COVID-19 and other airborne pathogens.
We have organized these events in collaboration with organizations such as the Association of Public & Land-Grant Universities, American Industrial Hygiene Association, and American Health Law Association.
With our technical assistance, this work has been recorded and repurposed into accessible, curated content for public consumption and within the membership website, where scientists and researchers can coordinate peer-to-peer.
Since 2020, we’ve supported IBEC in the following successes:
- 1,800+ attendees to their events.
- 75+ programs enhanced.
